Ryan Lacen
Director/ Writer/ Producer
After graduating with a degree in film from the University of New Mexico, Ryan began his professional career on bigger studio fare like the Academy Award nominated “In the Valley of Elah” and “Sunshine Cleaning”. He studied underneath visionary directors like Michel Gondry and Kevin Smith, taking from them the knowledge to go off and create his own projects. Since, he has produced independent features like "Cost of a Soul" for Relativity Media as well as "The Desk" and the upcoming film "In The Broken". “The Dust Storm” is a very personal feature film that he penned about the relationships that haunt us. It marks his directorial debut alongside his often collaborator Anthony Baldino.
 
Anthony Baldino
Director/ Producer
A native of Massachusetts, Anthony started his career working on studio features like "Couples Retreat" "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "The Green Hornet" before founding the company Normal Productions. Through the company he has overseen the production of countless music videos, commercials and feature films including the upcoming horror-comedy "She's Allergic to Cats". Recently, Anthony directed branded commercials before making his directorial debut with Ryan Lacen on "The Dust Storm"  .
 
Shannon Riggs
Producer
Producer SHANNON RIGGS started her independent production company, Beachwood Drive, with the goal of nurturing emerging filmmakers working with limited budgets. Based in Los Angeles, Shannon brings her strong background in production management and line producing from both studio and independent film production. She started her career in film development at Spike Lee’s production company, 40 Acres and a Mule, and then segued into physical production where she worked on big budget studio films such as "Wedding Crashers", "Cloverfield", "Super 8" and "Now You See Me". Her first indie feature, was the boxing drama, "Blue" starring Keith David. She went on to produce "Last Call" with Christopher Lloyd and Ryan Hansen and is currently in post production on "She’s Allergic to Cats" . She has also produced digital content for ESPN, Fusion, Universal Music, Sony Music, RCA, Annapurna and Dr. Luke. 
 
Sonja Mereu 
Producer
A notable Los Angeles based Producer who made a name for herself in the commercial and music video world, producing content for brands like Lacoste and Reebok as well as creating music videos for musicians Rhianna, Kodaline and Toro Y Moi. Sonja recently completed work on the western TV show "Dead Men" which was shot in and around Tombstone, AZ as well as the feature film "Blue Weekend". Sonja is the founder of Flathead Films, a boutique production company founded in 2008.
 
Justin Mickelson
Producer
Originally from Minnesota, Justin relocated to Los Angeles where he received work on films like "The Amazing Spiderman", "End of Watch" and "Project X". Since then, he has moved to Tennessee where he did several seasons of the hit ABC show "Nashville". Justin, whose vibrant personality makes him a born producer, took on "The Dust Storm" from early conception and saw it through principal to post production. He was the sole force behind getting the production to film exclusively in Nashville. Currently, he has several upcoming projects he's producing as well as being in the final stages of opening up his own extras casting company in Nashville.
 
Cory Scott Allen
Producer
 A jack of all trades, Cory began his film career as an actor taking on both film and television performing on a variance of shows like "Turn: Washington's Spies", "Nashville"  and "Point of Honor". He has recently transitioned his years in the industry in front of the camera to a behind the scenes level, tackling the role of executive producer in making "The Dust Storm" .
 
JP Ouellette
Executive Producer
JP is a producer on Oscar winner Tatum O'Neal's latest film "Sweet Lorraine" which is currently available On-Demand. He begun his career by climbing the ladder of production in assisting producers Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko), Michael Ohoven (Capote) and Gary Fleder (Runaway Jury). Most recently, her served as one of the writers and creative producers on the new film, "Captured" which is currently in the post-production phase.
 
Tim Sutherland
Cinematographer
Always wanting to capture the beauty in the unusual, Tim knew that he wanted to spend his life looking through a lens. He started his career as a DIT (digital image technician) jumping between television and film while ranking up credits in shows like “Grown Ups 2” “Harrys Law” and the hit TV show “Nashville”. He quickly became a camera operator on the later, which lead him to take over the reigns as cinematographer on several projects before shooting “The Dust Storm”.  Using the bright lights and energy of Nashville he was able to create a unique world for the two protagonists of this film.
 
Ben La Marca
Editor
A native of New Mexico, Ben’s first feature was the road trip drama “The Odd Way Home” which starred Rumer Willis and was shot in his home state. After moving to Los Angeles, Ben quickly became a well sought after editor with “All Cheerleaders Die” which was sold to distribution at the Toronto film festival, the upcoming thriller “Maternal Bonds: and “Teenage Cocktail”.  Collaborating on “The Dust Storm” was a fun challenge in having to create the balance of live music, temporal jumps and a story that is essentially just one couple whose romantic future hangs on a thin line.
 
Angela Messina
Production Designer
For the production of "The Dust Storm", Angela Messina was challenged with an independent films budget as well as an ambitious story that involved creating a unique look for a past and present romance that is consumed through the music scene of Nashville. Luckily for the filmmakers, she strives in challenging atmospheres as seen in her work as a production designer on Robin Williams final film "Boulevard" as well as the upcoming film "My Many Sons". She currently resides in Tennessee.
 
Kat Meoz
Music Supervisor 
Kat Meoz is an American singer-songwriter, composer, soundtrack and record producer. As a vocalist and instrumentalist she has led the independent garage rock-blues project GRIT since 2012. For "The Dust Storm", Kat produced the soundtrack which features original music performed by film leads Colin O'Donoghue and Kristen Gutoskie. As the films music supervisor, she traveled to Nashville with the cast and crew in search of upcoming artists who could compliment the eclectic sound that the script called for. The soundtrack features music from local Nashville bands Feedback Revival, Lost Dog, Morgan Myles, Kari & Billy, Red Wine Hangover, Forlorn Strangers as well as the sounds of GRIT, Dead Hello, Jessie Payo, Hello Echo and Joy Bishop.  
 
Ian Simon

A popular assistant director who started off his career on big budget films like "Terminator:Salvation" and "Thor". The last several years he has frequently jumped between Los Angeles and New Mexico working on a variance of television shows and feature films.
